The Reliable Women & Youth Empowerment (RWYE) Foundation

Founded in 2022 by a group of passionate Africans. We are dedicated to creating pathways to prosperity for vulnerable communities in Africa and the diaspora. We believe in an Africa and diaspora where everyone has value.

Our mission is focused on the areas of greatest need, on ways in which we can do the most good to improve the quality of lives of people around the globe.

We do that, by creating sustainable programs and providing necessary resources in underprivileged areas.

Program Areas

The Reliable Women & Youth Empowerment (RWYE) Foundation is dedicated to creating pathways to prosperity for vulnerable communities in Africa and the Diaspora. We are impatient Afro-Optimists working towards a peaceful world by turning our compassion into action–helping each other thrive by working to reduce inequity & inequality!

Agriculture

Food Security & Nutrition

Our goal is to support Diaspora and Africa-led inclusive agriculture transformation to ensure food security. We focus on four strategic goals that help drive agricultural transformation and that ensure this transformation is inclusive: increase agricultural productivity for smallholder family farmers–especially youth and women farmers; increase smallholder farmer household income; increase equitable consumption of a safe, affordable, nutritious diet year-round; and increase women’s & youth empowerment in agriculture.

Health

Survive & Thrive

Our goal is to strengthen the health care system, especially at the community and primary health level–and expedite the development of our organic African healing herbs, diagnostic tools, and innovative technology devices to advance Africa’s health system. Our health programs are geared to improve the delivery of health products & services and promote health systems innovations so Africans can significantly reduce maternal and infant mortality, improve disease control, and advance health equity

Education

Inspire & Innovate

Our goal is to significantly increase the number of Africans, and low-income students who earn a diploma, enrol in post-secondary intuitions or trade schools and are on track in their first year to obtain a certificate or credential with labour market value. In addition, we will sponsor interns and fellows to serve and get credit working at our RWYE foundation.

Project HOPE

Project HOPE (Harnessing Opportunities for Poverty Eradication). We are dedicated to Cultivating HOPE and being a catalyst of change-to help farmers grow more food sustainably. Project HOPE Mission: Project HOPE will sustainably reduce poverty, hunger, and malnutrition. It will be launched first in 3 states in Phase 1 with local adaption and advocacy being led by our local farmers: Hope meaning = Ireti | Olile Anya| Fata| in local language
